Sometimes brand’s come to me with an established brand personality and voice they want me to adopt and other times they need help defining that piece of their brand.
Regardless of the scenario, translating a brand’s voice and personality into their copy isn’t always the easiest task. It takes a deep understanding of brand principles, storytelling, and what type of copy works best in various formats (blog, social media, email marketing, etc.)
Before starting any copywriting projects, I will work with my client to develop a mini brand strategy. This helps us identify their brand voice and personality but also helps me understand their target market better. This allows me to know only write in their unique voice but also tell stories that will resonate with their target market making their marketing efforts much more effective.
